Mooney Fly-In to Paris

This year's European Mooney Fly In was organized by the French Mooniacs Gilles Khaiat and Jacques Callies and they decided to meet in the Aéro-Club de France, the oldest Aeroclub of the world which is in the heart of Paris. Paris is lucky to have many airports for general aviation. The Mooniacs flew to Toussus le Noble, LFPN, south west of Paris. From there a pick up was arranged to down town Paris. The weather could not have been better: bright sunshine, no clouds and great views.

On Juni 1st 2011 seven Mooneys flew to Deauville, LFRG. Deauville is at the Atlantic coast North of France. One week before the G8 summit was in Deauville and now the Mooniacs meet here. Klaus and Annette came from Denmark with their Mooney, the other 6 Mooneys came from Germany.

Oxford Fly-In

The first EMPOA Fly-In to Great Britain has been held by Kate & Pete Williams, who invited the Mooniacs to a real british weekend in Oxford. Blenheim Palace, Oxford with its numerous colleges and the absolute highlight: a gala dinner in the stunning Oxford Union made this Fly-In a wonderful time to remember

EMPOA On Tour 2010

The EMPOA On Tour was a step to the next level for the EMPOA. It was not only a Fly-In for a couple of days to one destination, but a full round-trip through south-eastern Europe among Mooniacs. Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Hungary were the countries we flew to with 4 Mooneys within 13 days.

Mooney Flight Training 2010
11. - 13.06.2010 in Donaueschingen

It was the second time, that the EMPOA offered a Mooney Flight Training together with the MAPA Safety Foundation in Europe. This time it was even more crowded. 5 instructors came over to the little airport of Donaueschingen to share there experiences in flying a Mooney safe and professional.
