In silent remembrance

On 27 October 2016, Dr Matthias Winkler was killed in an accident with his Mooney N400MW on approach to Saarbrücken. We are very sad and saddened and wish his wife Adelheid and their two daughters Susanne and Antonia much strength.
Matthias loved flying and spent many hours in the air in his Mooney M20K. He experienced many beautiful flights and also flew across the Atlantic to America a few times. We value him as a friend, good flying buddy and flight instructor and will miss him very much, he will live on in our memories.

Peter Marton from Hungary passed away at the beginning of 2016 after a serious illness. Peter was an EMPOA-Mooniac from the very beginning and many of you knew him personally.

We will never forget the three fly-ins at his home airfield in Jakabszallas/Hungary (LHJK), which Peter planned with his characteristic attention to detail and which gave us wonderful hours at the airfield and in the Puszta. But also at numerous other EMPOA events Peter proved that he belonged to the closest core of our Mooneyclub.

We will miss his sarcasm and at the same time charming manner. Nevertheless, we are sure that he will keep a watchful eye on our speedmachines from heaven in the future.
