To the European Mooney Pilots and Owners Association (EMPOA)
On 3rd April 2009, the European Mooney Pilots and Owners Association (EMPOA) was established at Donaueschingen airfield (EDTD). EMPOA has been incorporated as a charitable association under Swiss law. Its aims are to
- Bring together and support Mooney pilots and owners
- Represent the common interests of Mooney pilots and owners
- Provide technical and flying training for pilots and owners
EMPOA is now a vibrant community with more than 150 members, from at least 10 countries in Europe.

EMPOA started in Germany and a German website was developed. It was decided that there should be an umbrella site, in English, for all European members. The pan-European information that’s currently on the German site will be translated and will move onto this site in the next few months. We are starting with membership information and forthcoming events.
