EMPOA X-Mas Event 2021
This year, our EMPOA X-mas meeting will take place on November, 26./27./28. in the beautiful
city of Duesseldorf on the river Rhine.
Program (more details in the attachments below):
November, 26th (Friday):
10:30 –13:30 hrs (local time): Landing in Mönchengladbach (EDLN),
for those travelling by car: Flughafenstrasse 95, D-41066 Moenchengladbach, parking free of charge.
11:00 – 14:00 hrs: Welcome with some finger food, soup and drinks at the airport in separate EMPOA-room on second floor.
14:15 – 15:00 hrs: Transfer of crews to hotel “Leonardo Royal Duesseldorf” and Check–In
After 16:00 - ~18:30 hrs: Guided Tours in Duesseldorf. Due to the near sunset we propose
Beer & Culture Tour (F1), or Night-Watchman-Tour (F2)
19:00 o’clock: Dinner in a Düsseldorf Brewhouse.
Please let us know if you want to participate (for reservation purpose). Everybody pays his own bill.
November, 27th (Saturday):
After breakfast: Visitor programs in Dusseldorf , our suggestion:
a guided sight-seeing tour on a HopOn HopOff-bus (S1), or Düsseldorf by Bike on rental bikes (S2)
For the afternoon, we suggest (window-) shopping at the famous “KÖ” avenue, and/or
a guided Christmas tour including mulled wine & biscuits (S3) across Düsseldorf Xmas markets,.
19:30 o’clock: Gala Dinner at the hotel with a 4-course menu. –EMPOA invites you–
November, 28th (Sunday):
Breakfast and Check-Out till 12:00 hrs
Transfer of crews to EDLN, Mönchengladbach Airport
Our Hotel:
Leonardo Royal Königsallee, Graf-Adolf-Platz 8-10, D-40213 Düsseldorf.
We have arranged block booking of single- (109€) and double rooms (119€) at special rates. Please book stating "EMPOA", to make use of the special rates until Oktober, 28th. Rate is per room and night, including breakfast; booking of at least two nights is mandatory.

Cancellation has to be announced to the hotel in writing. It is free of charge until 7 days before arrival Thereafter you will be charged 90% of the booked amount. Cancellation of only one night is not possible.
